Registration is CLOSED (since March 10th, 2019).
The International Summer School on Deep Learning 2019 decided to accept limited number of participants for this year’s edition to ensure that participants get the absolute most out of the courses. Selection of participants will be based on the decision of the jury, taking into account information provided by candidates in the registration form, the order in which the forms were submitted, as well as the terms and conditions listed below. The decision is final and irrevocable.
Due to limited availability of seats early registration is highly recommended to ensure your participation. Please fill out the following registration form before 10.03.2019.
Once registration is closed (10.03.2019) the jury will gather and select 100 participants for International Summer School on Deep Learning 2019 from all submissions following the rules listed in Terms & Conditions of acceptance section. We will notify all participants about the first decision on 14.03.2019. All selected participants will have time till 15.04.2019 to pay the fee (please go to Registration fee sub-page and follow instruction there only if you have been selected). In case you were not selected please stay patient, as you will be put on the wait list and will be able to participate in the School if any of the selected in the first round drops out. We will be reaching out to those wait-listed with further instructions

Terms & Conditions of acceptance
To engage diversity the following rules will be used during selection of participants:
- A total of 100 attendees will be allowed to take part in the Summer School.
- At least a half of the accepted submissions has to be from affiliations outside of Poland.
- There is a limit of 2 accepted submissions from any given affiliation. If the number of submissions from the same affiliation is larger, the jury will select the School’s participants from this affiliation.
- If after first the round there are still seats available jury may decide to fill them without taking the rules above into account.

Visas
Visitors from some countries need visas to enter Poland. In case you require a proof of attending school for visa processing and you were accepted to the International Summer School on Deep Learning 2019 please use contact form to obtain the acceptance letter (if required)
What you need to participate
You are encouraged to bring your own laptop if you plan to participate in any hands-on workshops or other coding activities. We will not be providing any computers to the participants.
WiFi will be available on-site to allow you for accessing the School’s server, that will be accessible through web browser. Every participant will be given credentials to log into the server and use it to run workshop related materials.
Please keep in mind that electricity used in Poland is 230V, 50Hz AC. Plug sockets are round with two round-pin sockets. Before traveling please ensure to bring a plug convertor.
